INCA grad helps track COVID-19 stories in Indigenous communities
INCA grad and Summer Institute social media coordinator Jaida Beaudin-Herney has landed a unique summer job through her INCA experiences. She’s working as a research fellow with the Institute for Investigative Journalism, and is one of the people behind launching a map to track COVID-19 cases in Indigenous communities.
The information to build the map will be contributed by grassroots people, in addition to official sources. Jaida will be talking about the project on CLIX FM in Ile a la Crosse this morning, interviewed by long time radio veteran and INCA grad Robert Merasty.
